Hey, I'm Daniel. I've been building production systems for over 10 years. E-commerce systems, Payment platforms, distributed services. The kind of stuff where if your deploy breaks, people lose money.

One thing I kept seeing over and over was companies burning money on hosting for no reason. I once migrated 12 WordPress sites to Next.js for a client and their bill went from thousands a month to about $20. At another gig I built a platform doing 12 million requests a month and the infrastructure cost less than dinner.

That got me thinking. Most SaaS apps don't need Kubernetes or managed databases or multi-region anything. A single server running SQLite in WAL mode handles thousands of requests per second. Why are people paying $50+/month per app when a $13/month Hetzner server can run ten of them?

That's why I built RunMist. You get the same deploy experience as Vercel or Railway. Push to main, live on HTTPS, zero-downtime. Except it runs on your own server. No vendor lock-in, no per-seat pricing, no surprise bills.

It's the tool I wish I had years ago. If you have questions, feedback, or just want to say what's up, shoot me an email at [email protected].
